1.      Susan went nuts about the hats I made but she needed more time to decide on the quantity.

5.      Finally she sweetened the deal and offered me 3 dollars 50 cents for a hat.

7.      Our boss asked us to make quite a number of hats within 3 days.

8.      That's a tall order but we don't want to spoil the business.

9.      We will work like crazy every day and even burn the midnight oil .

10. I hope that we will meet the deadline and our business will take off soon .

12. I'd better stop chit-chating now and get back to work.

13. After our performance, the audience rose and applauded with“bravo” for ten minutes.

14. Some big shots who saw the play paid us a compliment that our performance was head and shoulders above the others.

15. We felt so relieved – the success took a real load off our mind.

16. We were absolutely satisfied because we did the trick and made a splash.

17. Needless to say , we were chosen to perform at the city theater.
